Dreadnought Leith

The Dreadnought in Leith, located between Ferry Road and Ocean Terminal, in the wake of the proverbial freight train of hipster joints rocketing through Edinburgh, offers a refreshing change of pace.

The design is down-to-earth and unpretentious, with an atmosphere to match, a breath of fresh air the city sorely needed.

Dreadnought is no dive bar, however. It offers an excellent selection of beverages, from regularly rotating craft beers, to gins, whiskies and other spirits; all at very reasonable prices. The bar also caters for those in search of some live music, with DJs in regular attendance. Further to this, a simple but well-crafted food menu is on offer for those who seek it.

If you’re in the mood for a nice night out in a good atmosphere without the pretence and pretention, then Dreadnought is the place for you. Good beer, good food, good music and good people: what more could one ask for?
