Part of the Fuller-Thomson portfolio, Duke's Corner has its own distinct identity. The open plan layout and minimalist decor makes for an extraordinarily versatile venue depending on the event or occasion. It is dimly lit, the atmosphere smart but casual, and the rustic picnic benches provide a relaxed yet sociable setting for the bar/restaurant and live music venue.

Located just off campus, Duke's Corner is a popular and trendy hangout spot for students looking to take advantage of the ‘feed me’ food and drinks deals. Although with a premium venue, comes premium pricing; this is reflected in the vast array of more expensive, high-quality Scottish craft beers, including those of the local Brewery 71, and the exotic library of spirits from all over the world.

The seating that surrounds the stage is arranged like a Parisienne cafe or a late-night jazz club and can be cleared away to make room for the dancefloor. Although there is less of an emphasis on live music than when Duke's was home to the Doghouse, which was famed as a gig/rehearsal space, house DJs prove popular with the weekend crowd. The venue is also host to many different events, including movie nights and pub quizzes.

Marketed as a barbeque and burger restaurant, Duke's has an American-style menu, featuring gourmet hot dogs, burgers and steaks, which are all cooked over a charcoal barbeque grill. During the sunny days, you can make the most of the beer garden, where further BBQs can be started, making it easy to hang around til the small hours.
