Conroy's Basement

Nourishing local, unsung talent whilst keeping a city centre business going is not for the faint-hearted, and so it's with real guts that the owners of Conroy's Basement have been determined to do just that.

The intimate basement bar, formerly Beat Bar, is distinctly unpretentious and all the better for it. It's snug, loud, and everything you'd hope for in a decent music venue.  There's a steady line up of local and touring musicians, as well as regular punk rock nights from local DIY label Make That a Take, and enough variety to draw in both a loyal regular following and new punters too.  

There's also a decent selection of beers on tap, should you need a post-moshing hydration session, so get yerself down there and support some homegrown talent!
