The Spills – Pepper's Ghost: Music Video Premiere

Moody Wakefield quartet The Spills premiere their new video for Pepper's Ghost, taken from new album Collecting Dust.

Video | 28 Sep 2015

Having released a 7" through Too Pure earlier in the year, The Spills returned with their full length effort Collecting Dust this month, with the album "exploiting the schism separating the dispassionate chaos of the band's guitars and the impassioned yelping of singer Rob Slater."

The video to 'Pepper's Ghost' explores the nostalgic references of the album with a commited lo-fi aesthetic, using old TVs as props with distorted, ghostly overlays that wouldn't look out of place in a low budget, late night horror series.

The Spills are on tour across England this October, including an appearance at the 5th iteration of Carefully Planned Festival in Manchester on 17 Oct. Tour dates below; Collecting Dust is out now via Alcopop! Records and Philophobia Music.
