Kid Canaveral look behind the mask in new video for 'Who Would Want To Be Loved?'

Video | 10 Feb 2014

Fife / Edinburgh indie-folk gang Kid Canaveral, who recently played live at our 100th issue bash unveiled their new video late last week for Who Would Want To Be Loved?, taken from 2013 album Now That You Are a Dancer, released via Lost Map

The video sees the band playing the track in the studio, while two characters wearing elaborate papier mache masks play out an understated love story, meeting in a record shop, before going for a nice cup of tea. The whole thing is undeniably heart-warming, and Kid Canaveral will be launching the video and single at Stereo in Glasgow on 14 February, with a very special 'Lumber Party' (chortle), alongside Malcolm Middleton and Randolph's Leap, with DJ sets from The Twilight Sad and TYCI. They can also be seen at Aberdeen's The Hop on 7 March, Dundee's Beat Generator on 8 March, and Manchester's Star and Garter on 29 March.
