BC Camplight – Atom Bomb, and the making of How To Die In The North

Video | 19 Jan 2015

Get an insight into the making of How To Die in The North, the new album from BC Camplight (Brian Christinzio), in this look behind the scenes at the making of BC's third LP.

Shot at EVE Studios, Manchester, during the making of the album, BC performs new track Atom Bomb and discusses life since his move to the Northwest from Philadelphia nearly four years ago.

Describing the new album to The Skinny in this month’s issue, Christinzo remarked: “It’s the only record that's come out exactly as it was in my head. So at least it's the best I can do, so if people don't get it, they don't get it.”

BC Camplight plays headline shows at Gorilla in Manchester on 23 Jan and Leaf in Liverpool on 11 Mar; he supports Calexico at Glasgow's Old Fruitmarket on 1 Feb as part of the Celtic Connections festival. How To Die In The North is out on 19 Jan via Bella Union.

Directed and Produced by Sophia Rahman
Shot and Edited by Jon Brady
Track sound engineered by Henry Broadhead
