Manipulate / ECA Animation Showcase: Boxed In by Will Becher

The Skinny Magazine presents Boxed In (2002), by Will Becher, one in a series of selected work from Edinburgh College of Art's past graduates in the discipline of animation. A selection of some of the best of ECA's graduate animation work from the past 20 years will be screened at the 2014 Manipulate festival.

In 2002 Nick Park invited Will to become an animator on Wallace & Gromit: Curse of the Were Rabbit, after seeing his degree film Boxed In. Since then Will has continued to develop his passion for stop motion animation and his unique visual style by writing and directing two award winning short films, directing a commercial for Feel Good Drinks and animating on highly acclaimed film, TV and series projects for Aardman, Laika and Channel 4.
