The Bay Horse is a pub in Manchester's vibrant Northern Quarter. Well known for its pies, food at The Bay Horse is served daily from midday until 9pm and all dishes are prepared fresh. From classic pub meals like steak sandwiches and scampi to knackerbrod (a traditional Swedish crispbread made from rye flour that's topped with delicious pizza toppings), the food here is all reasonably priced and made using ingredients from local suppliers.
There's a wide selection of draught and bottled beer on offer, as well as a great value wine deal until 7pm every night (a bottle of house wine for just £10).
The Bay Horse is one of the original Northern Quarter pubs and has a packed schedule of events throughout the week. From live music to open mic nights and guest DJs, there's always something on. Head downstairs to the Saddle Club where you'll find a great cocktail menu and events every Friday and Saturday night (with £5 cocktails all night).
Keep an eye on our listings for what's on at The Bay Horse and other bars in the Northern Quarter in the coming weeks. [Laura Maclean]
