Henri's

Henris's is a French little delicatessen and cafe complete with wine, croissants and blue and white checkered table cloths. A wonderful cheese selection (Henri's is the largest stockist of French, artisanal cheese in Scotland) make for the main toppings of their gourmet sandwiches, but they also have quiche and a good selection of homemades soups and pastries. There are only two tables inside (the others on the pavement for that rare, sunny Edinburgh day..), but I was assured that you'll still get real grated chocolate on your coffee if you do take away. Mmm.. tres parfait.
