Fopp

Located in the city centre, this Fopp is just one of eight Fopp stores left in the UK. Which is a terrible shame as they are some of the best shops for buying cheap music, films and books. Luckily Glasgow is blessed enough to have two of the eight stores. Hurrah! Byres Road Fopp stocks a massive selections of films and TV boxsets, with an extensive range of world cinema titles. They house a wealth of CDs and a small collection of vinyl, alongside a concise range of classic novels and modern favourites, all priced reasonably cheaply. They also avoid the nonsense of the 99p price tag. In addition to the music they also offer music merchandise such as mugs, t-shirts, posters and headphones. In short, it is immensely hard to leave Fopp without buying something.
