Woodend Bowling Club

A Glasgow institution for more than a century, Woodend is a brilliant social and family resource for bowling (as might be clear from its name) and lawn tennis (maybe less clear). Also available at the club are facilities for running, hockey, football, bride and (honest!) Subutteo. The recently-launched Club House also allows ample opportunity for aspiring Andy Murrays to mix, make pals and mingle. Intended as a sporting hub for the whole community, the Woodend BLTC also has five all-weather tennis courts, and a short tennis court for the exclusive use of racket-swinging sprogs. Members of the club are also welcome to hire the hall for private functions and events – details and booking forms are all available on the website.
