Word Of Mouth
The streets surrounding Leith Walk aren't exactly bereft of cosy little cafés - in fact, the eaterie:pavement ratio is probably quite competitive - but Word of Mouth has captured the affections of disillusioned Leith diners and (appropriately) graduated to word of mouth local lunchtime legend. Offering scrumptious locally-sourced soul food with a Greek influence - the menu flourishes around such ingredients as spinach, feta, halloumi and spiced lamb meatballs - Word of Mouth also holds frequent social events, including music and poetry open mics; foreign language evenings; and the much-famed Pudding Nights.
