The Gateway

An offshoot of the Royal Botanical Gardens' exciting new biodiversity information centre, "The John Hope Gateway", The Gateway Restaurant is a slightly pricey dining destination, with an average Botanics Breakfast rolling in at around £7.00. But it's a forgiveable quibble, given the imagination and quality of the cuisine on offer, and it's not often you get to eat your lunch of Loch Duart salmon, seasonal greens heirloom tomatoes and herb potatoes overlooking acres of horticultural profferings from all six continents.
So, a bargain really.
