Café Antipasti

Tiered over two levels, the Sauchiehall Street counterpart of this increasingly popular Italian restaurant shares the menu and high standards of its Byres Road sibling, but with more floor space, has managed to spread its wings a little. Rustic wooden furnishings offset with some sharp design accents captures Café Antipasti's statement of intent: traditional and simple Italian fare with a cheeky little Glasgow twist. The one-page á la carte menu is admittedly not extensive, but every dish - be it the stock favourite of "Old Fashioned Spaghetti and Meatballs" or the more exotic "Fresh Asparagus Tortiglione" - is carefully selected with utter gastronomic satisfaction in mind.
The mezzanine level is also available for private bookings of up to 40 guests.
