Eden Court

Most recently refurbished in 2007, Inverness' Eden Court is, nevertheless, by no means a new young pretender on Scotland's cultural catwalk. Composed of buildings from three different centuries, (including the Victorian Bishops' Palace) it is one of Scotland - nay, Britain's - best equipped and most innovative arts facilities, boasting a pair each of cinemas, theatres, dance and drama studios, and three floors of dressing rooms. While it could be argued that no one needs space for that many costume changes, Eden Court is indeed a veritable ark of a venue, staging everything from international cinema to amateur youth productions and classical opera. If variety and innovation is something you like in your art, Eden Court is a venue of quite biblical proportions.
