Scotland-Russia Institute

The Scotland-Russia Institute is an independent culture centre which runs a series of discussions, art exhibitions, and language classes in an effort to enhance appreciation of the country which brought us Tolstoy, Tchaikovsky and, erm, t.A.T.u. Other resources include a lending library, internet access and a gift shop which stocks new Russian literature as well as English publications from the members of the Institute. In close proximity to the University of Edinburgh, this is a fantastic facility for anyone hoping to broaden their knowledge of Russian culture.
