Dovecot

Nestled away in the heart of Edinburgh's Old Town, the former Victorian Baths are now home to Dovecot – one of the world's leading comtemporary tapestry studios. It works to commission for public and private collectors in collaboration with contemporary artists such as David Hockney, Frank Stella and Henry Moore. As well as a permanent home for the tapestry studio, the venue also offers three gallery spaces exhibiting art, design and craftmanship across a variety of disciplines. It also has a lovely cafe run by Stag Espresso. Ah, the draw of a gallery with a lovely cafe!
