Bramble Bar & Lounge

Consistently hailed as one of Edinburgh's best cocktail bars, the small but perfectly-formed Bramble is a little warren of luxury. Candlelit nooks and crannies of seating areas strewn with tasselled pillows and velvety cushions make for an intimate and ever-so-slightly debauched vibe in which to sip one of the bar's devilishly delicious concoctions. The unisex toilets are apt to freak you out slightly if you've downed a mojito with irresponsible haste, but this tiny drawback is more than balanced out by the skill of the mixologists. Bramble even covers all the bases with a decent range of specialist Euro-beers on offer for anyone too cool for a cocktail.
We've yet to meet someone who's had a bad drink here. Go go go.
