They spent an extensive amount of time trialling new staff, my son worked unpaid behind the bar for 10 hours over two evenings for them to be turned down. Not that I suspect anything untowards you understand :-(

Report to moderatorAbsolutly the best steak and chips I've ever had (and I've had a lot). We had a perfectly cooked slab of chargrilled ribeye with chips cooked in dripping - great to share. They'd be insane to drop it!

Report to moderatorCame here for son's birthday - 6 of us. Lovely doggie pictures everywhere and for dog lovers it was right up our street. HOWEVER, the pumpkin, honey and sage soup was pretty muc revolting (with lumps and all)...........the plaice (with chips) which my older son ordered came whole, with bones head skin etc., and was a waste of time. Our vegetables arrived just as we finishing the main course.........so werent touched. My coffee arrived before my dessert - and none of the others even got their's!! Had been here for lunch once and it was good but this was a disappointment. Very very disorganised and some weird food.
