Victoria pub

The Victoria is another classic little boozer slap bang in the middle of Leith Walk, offering excellent continental beers in one of the friendliest places in Leith. It's alarmingly pleasant. By day its vast array of cosy couches and rows of cushions make it a vibrant little hive of joviality, by night it ups a few gears and becomes altogether hip. A seriously relaxed bar, classy in its way but without any pretence. May this pub have a long reign in Leith, a place of true majesty worthy of eternal coronation, and may all who drink in her be merry. This is Leith at its regal best; quirky, imaginative, super-friendly and full of people up for a laugh.

  • Friendliest places in Leith? what planet is the writer on?. Hip yes if hip means wank. The clientele at this hole are the dourest antisocial people you can meet, total toss. The ugly thick dour germanic descended locals who mistakenly believe themselves to be Scots and also somehow believe thay are better than everyone else are the people that populate this bar. Better to go into central Edinburgh fo a bar as then you are less likely to meet someone from Leith.
