Wagamama

Wagamama is a busy chain restaurant serving popular Japanese cuisine. The first restaurant opened in London in 1992 and since then Wagamama has been steadily taking over the world, including most importantly Glasgow. Modelled on Japanese ramen bars, the seating syle is communal and the waiting staff are friendly with speed as their main agenda. These restaurants are casual, indeed Wagamama opens up the rules of dinning etiquette. This is perhaps what makes Wagamama a hit with tourists, especially Americans. The food is freshly prepared, the fruit drinks freshly made and overall the food is very tasty and affordable. Not too bad for a chain restaurant!
