Talbot Rice Gallery
Based in historic Old College the Talbot Rice Gallery takes its name from David Talbot Rice, a former Professor of Fine Art at University of Edinburgh. Established in 1975 it is one of Scotland’s leading contemporary public art galleries. It comprises of two distinct exhibition spaces; the White Gallery, presenting a changing programme of contemporary Scottish and international artists, and the neoclassical Georgian Gallery; hosting historic, experimental and academic exhibitions. The Gallery also runs special events including lectures, tours, performances and workshops that complement the exhibitions. Admittance is free.
