Stills

Stills opened in 1977 as Scotland’s first gallery specialising in contemporary photography. There are regular exhibitions from commissioned artists and the gallery hosts a 12 months residency programme for the critical and technical development of six artists. If you are not content to merely gaze upon the brilliant work of others there is also a treasure trove of facilities and inspiration beyond the initial exhibition space They have film screenings and run workshops including lomography, web design and sound recording. Darkrooms and high tech computers for design and editing are available at super cheap prices.
