Brian Cox Studio

The Brian Cox Studio is the Scottish Youth Theatre’s purpose built studio theatre. Located in Merchant city, the Old Sheriff Court space offers modern interior and a versatile performance space – whilst the outside retains the traditional architecture. The theatre is home to the Scottish Youth Theatre’s high profile project and performance group, SYT Productions, and in addition to their performances also showcases SYT participants and visiting theatre companies from across Scotland and the UK. Additionally, weekly drama classes are taught and each year it is used for the SYT acclaimed annual summer festival. When not in use as a theatre, the studio is available for hire as a space for meetings, rehearsals or events.
