Market Gallery

Two old shops in Dennistoun form one of Glasgow's artist-led galleries. The Market is run by committee and organises residencies, events and exhibitions in one of the centre's more, ahem, colourful areas. The glass fronts of the shops can make residencies and openings an interesting experience, dragging the high falutin art world kicking and screaming into the daily life of the East End.
