Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum
Recently refurbished, the Victorian art galleries and museums in the West End have offered entertainment on a wet Sunday afternoon to generations of Glasgow weans. Featuring an impressive collection of stuffed animals (including an elephant called Sir Roger), medieval armour, a pipe organ, painting including works by Monet and Dali, rooms telling the story of Glasgow, a Spitfire and much more besides, you'll learn a lot here even if you're well past wean age.
