The latest addition to the city nightclub's dwindling disco scene opened its doors a couple of years ago and keeps going from strength to strength. The first thing you'll notice about City Nightclub is its size, as it easily holds up to 1,500 people, so if you go to the toilet, don't expect to find your friends again in a hurry. City not only looks the part with its stateÃ¢Â€Â“ofÃ¢Â€Â“theÃ¢Â€Â“art lighting and sound system, but plays host to some of the worlds top DJs ranging from Roger Sanchez, Hed Kandi to 2 Many DJs and Erol Alkan. Start your night off in the relaxed Sportsters Bar, with free Internet access, a laid back food menu, PS2s and a plentiful drinks selection, then move next door dancefloor where you can hear some of the finest tunes. Boasting one of Edinburgh's biggest student night, 'Shark', on a Wednesday, City nightclub is popular during the week with new students who want to sample some of Edinburgh's finest alchopops, whilst the weekend boats and older crowd.
