A bar/bistro with an atmosphere almost as bubbly as the cava it serves, Brutti Ma Buoni's unfussy attitude to prepared-to-perfection food at budget prices makes every dining experience there a pleasurable one. With their lack of pretension reflected in a light-flooded, no-frills leather'n'scrubbed wood interior, you can really focus on the menu - which, admittedly, demands some concentration, such is its length and variety. Expect "ugly but good" home-made breads, a fit-to-burst tapas menu and a selection of mains that puts to bed the culinary myth that burgers and chips are lazy choices. A must-try.
