The Skinny got very excited when Amber Regent's website proclaimed it to be "the combination of Scottish and Chinese styles" and started imagining all kinds of concoctions in the vein of sweet'n'sour haggis. Thankfully, Amber Regent's vision is a lot more refined than this. The best of Cantonese and Szechuan recipes are created using fresh Scottish produce, resulting in a lip-smacking menu reflecting the dedication of owner Andy Chung who, for two decades, has nurtured the growth of Chinese cuisine in Glasgow.
