Is it spring yet? Certainly feels like Scottish climes are on the turn. Delightful as it is to remember vitamin D exists, this sunburst is a little inconvenient, sartorially speaking. Layers, that's what we need. Pile them on to walk to work in a blisteringly cold morning, peel them off when your centrally-heated office is overwhelmingly warm by lunchtime.

Seems like the local fashion and vintage scene are sensing our hankering for new threads – we're inundated with shopping options this week. There's a weigh and pay over at  Edinburgh's Central Hall (25 Feb, 11am-5pm), a fashion and fleamarket over at Glasgow's BAaD (26 Feb, 10am-4pm), and the Scottish Design Exchange are launching their new textiles department on 2 Mar (7pm).

If you're too busy this weekend, hang on in 'til 4 & 5 Mar when you can head to The Pitt's inaugural Food + Flea... more info here.
