Chav Tackno @ Ego, April 30

Ego was packed with Burberry-clad people dancing the night away to classic cheesy tunes

As Tackno approaches its 11th birthday, Trendy Wendy continues to deliver a fun-filled night of all things kitsch, and Chav Tackno was no exception. Ego was packed with Burberry-clad people dancing the night away to classic cheesy tunes. Everyone entering the club was rated on the "Chavometer" from schemie to chavtastic, and those in the best costumes were awarded prizes. As always, the Tackno team were on hand to entertain and give out sweeties to those queueing to get in. Other clubs may play cheesy music, but touches like this make Tackno unique. It attracts a loyal following, many of whom take each month's theme as a new opportunity to dress up and get into character. If this sounds like your cup of tea, 25th June is Teenage Tackno – a perfect excuse to get together with a few friends and dress up as your favourite boy band! [Miguel Etxebarr"a]
