The Guerrilla Session: Fanfarlo

Despite a ferocious touring schedule of late, Fanfarlo accidentally found themselves with a day off in Glasgow during October. Naturally, having done little else but play live in the previous weeks and months, with the prospect of doing more of the same most of the way up to Christmas, there was only one thing they thought of doing. Which was to, erm, play live a bit more. For free. In a location chosen by a fan.

The location chosen - in hindsight, fairly recklessly - was the famous Cloisters, inside Glasgow University. It's quite posh round here too. And quiet. And today, chock full of primary school kids on a tour - just the place for a three-song set, then.

Despite the noise (although Fanfarlo are hardly Gallows), despite the crowd cluttering up the joint, despite the forty children running around screaming, and despite completely failing to ask anyone's permission, the lovely folk of Glasgow University very politely let them finish a few songs before asking us to leave - but we'd got we came for. And now, so can you.
