Katy Perry gets dirty with Russell Brand

Quirky pop star Katy Perry has confessed to donning “lace, crystals, feathers and boobie things” to impress her new lover Russell Brand while speaking at a press conference for the MTV Europe Music Awards, which she is hosting.

Seconds after the raunchy admission, Katy blushed before apologising to her parents, who are both pastors.

“I’m especially naughty under Russell’s influence,” the 25-year-old star told the screaming crowd. “I’ve worn things in the past couple of months that aren’t appropriate for this press conference because of him. It’s all a bit naughtier, with lace, crystals, feathers, bowler hats and a lot of boobie things. Sorry mother, sorry father.”

Katy also spoke about her costumes for the awards ceremony, which takes place in Berlin, Germany, tonight, and will feature performance from Beyonce Knowles and Shakira.

“I’ve gone for less costume changes this year, but less clothing too,” she said. “I’ve gone for a dark, romantic vibe. It’s sexy. I’m highlighting what God gave me – what my mama made. Some of the outfits will be almost just ‘nip slips’ but not quite fully exposed.”

It is the second time Katy has hosted the prestigious awards.
