Je Suis Animal - Fortune Map

Listening to Je Suis Animal is like peering through Lewis Carroll’s looking-glass - things seem familiar, but something you can’t quite put your finger on doesn’t feel right, and you end up caught between enjoying the moment and nervously navigating alien terrain. This tension between the old (Fortune Map evokes any number of indie-pop pioneers) and the hypnotically new (at the same time, they sound like none of them) is the band’s great strength.
