Fall Out Boy - Dance, Dance

1/5 stars
Dance, Dance is as palatable as a Big Mac but a lot less digestible.

Emerging from the eyeliner-clad shadow of America's emo scene is teen-rock sensations Fall Out Boy. Pumped up and ready to go, Dance, Dance epitomises the angst fuelled pogoing of every fourteen year-old seeking an alternative to disposable pop. In Fall Out Boy they have uncovered their new idols, or perhaps more accurately the record company has found itself a doting audience. Devoid of any passion or emotion this is an utterly decrepit three minutes of microwavable power-punk that oozes the phrase target market. Dance, Dance is as palatable as a Big Mac but a lot less digestible. [Billy Hamilton]
