Groove Armada - Get Down feat. Stush

Well, this is change of tack - Groove Armada have come over sounding all Basement Jaxx, with help from the 'attitudilicious' Stush. Get Down's garage flavours and house elements compete for attention against Lady Stush's lyrics, an MC who gives Dizzee Rascal some feminine competition. Also included are Calvin Harris, Henrik B and Stretch and Form on remix duties. The rapidly-expanding fanbase for Harris will recognise the full on archaic analogue sounds used to futuristic effect, but the reverb could do with some serious lightening. Henrik brings in the Swedish techno for some stripped 4/4 action and the removal of Stush's vocals, while Stretch and Form click it over a genre into speedy and deep d&b, and about '+8' on the lyrical celerity!
