Punk's not dead, it merely evolved. But not all evolution deserves reverence; sometimes things are best left as they were. The Adventures Of Loki's new EP is a perfect example of the occasional trappings of progress. Seething with sharp-shooting angular riffs and snotty teenage angst, this is five tracks of barraging new-wave aggression. Yet for all this explosiveness, it seems like one big parody – and not just because of the shameless 'Bohemian Rhapsody' pilfering.
