Xtravaganza - Classics of 10 Years

A full on pounding selection to get everyone dancing their socks off, and a chillout album for those wee hours of the early morning when dawn breaks and everyone else heads to work

Album title: Classics of 10 Years
Artist: Xtravaganza
Label: V2
This certainly is an Xtravaganza: a compilation of three CDs, combining a warm-up to get your party started, a full on pounding selection to get everyone dancing their socks off, and a chillout album for those wee hours of the early morning when dawn breaks and everyone else heads to work. With all the albums offering classics such as Chicane's Low Sun or Agnelli & Nelson's El Nino, you can't go wrong. The only problem is that you could very well already own most of the tunes in their original mix – it is a Classics album after all. The tracks chosen work well together, blending seamlessly, but a few lesser well-known tracks could have been dropped in for the variation. [Lara Moloney]
