From the off-kilter timing to the frequent key changes mid-word, there are immediately idenitifiable Bjork and Regina Spektor elements to the vocal style, and the use of minimal beats and empyreal synths faintly associate themselves with The Smashing Pumpkin's Adore album. Pearson plays up the beats and streamlines the synths and keys into hypnotic electronica, which is generally uplifting, mostly soothing, and bound to be a starring track in the festival chill-out tents this summer.
