DJ Jazzy Jeff - The Return of the Magnificent

This sampler for Jeff's latest LP, a follow-up to the original Magnificent, is a funky mix of lite jazz and laid-back hip hop, and certainly gets your dancing feet itching. Jeff himself reckons this could well be the best record he's ever done. With some help from Kanye's mate Rhymefest, Jeff gives us a little blast ahead of the release, and a portion of it bodes well. Only time will tell if the blast is a shockwave ahead of the bomb about to be dropped, or if it is just the air displaced by a thousand Fresh Prince of Bel Air fans turning their heads and pricking up their ears at the news of new material from the conductor of The Philharmonics.
