Watch the SAY Award 2015 announcement, plus performances from Golden Teacher and more
The Scottish Album of the Year Award, or SAY Award, for 2015 will be awarded in Glasgow tonight – watch a livestream of all the build-up to the announcement from 8pm.
Glasgow garage-rockers PAWS, electronic trio Errors, folk songwriter Kathryn Joseph, techno mainstays Slam, grunge-pop duo Honeyblood, indie veterans Belle and Sebastian, synth duo Happy Meals, defunct Glasgow rockers The Amazing Snakeheads, Paolo Nutini – who won the public vote for a place on the ten-strong shortlist – and last year's winners Young Fathers are all in the running for this year's SAY Award, which comes with a £20,000 prize. Previous winners include Bill Wells & Aidan Moffat and RM Hubbert.
Ahead of the announcement of this year's winner, there are live sets from self-styled "party band" Golden Teacher, Lost Map signings Tuff Love, and underground rapper Loki, aka Darren McGarvey.
