Adrian Younge and Ghostface Killah drop Return Of The Savage featuring Raekwon, RZA

Producer Adrian Younge has released a new track from his forthcoming collaboration with Ghostface Killah, with 'Return Of The Savage' featuring Ghostface’s fellow Wu-Tang members Raekwon and RZA.

The track is taken from the forthcoming Twelve Reasons To Die II, the follow-up to the 2013 collaboration between the Wu-Tang member and Younge, who produced the score for 2009 blaxploitation comedy Black Dynamite.

The new album comes at a time of heightened productivity from the various members of the Clan – the group released A Better Tomorrow – their first full-length album for over seven years – last November, while Sour Soul, the collaborative album from Ghostface Killah and Toronto trio BADBADNOTGOOD was released earlier this year. Raekwon's latest solo album Fly International Luxurious Art dropped last month.

Raekwon, who was a notable hold-out in the early planning of A Better Tomorrow before eventually contributing to the album, told The Skinny earlier this year that much of the now-infamous in-fighting within the Clan is prompted by outside sources. He said: "The fans always think it’s just us, but it’s a little bit more than us. Shit gets misconstrued because people think Wu-Tang is dysfunctional, but the things that frustrate us come from outside the group."

Twelve Reasons To Die II is out later this year via Linear Labs; Wu-Tang Clan (minus Raekwon) play Glasgow O2 Academy on 5 Jun and Parklife Festival at Heaton Park, Manchester on 6 Jun.
