Adebimpe, Patton and Drucker debut Nevermen

Faith No More frontman Mike Patton, TV on the Radio's Tunde Adebimpe and prolific Anticon maverick DoseOne have finally revealed the first fruits of their Nevermen collaboration in a track titled Tough Towns.

Taken from their forthcoming ten track debut LP (due later in the year via Lex Records and Patton's own Ipecac Recordings), the long discussed team-up has been floated in interviews with the three since 2008. Intent on presenting the band as a 'leaderless trio, neither side-project nor supergroup,' Nevermen sees Adebimpe, Drucker and Patton taking an equal share in production and vocal duties. Turner Prize-winning artist Keith Tyson, the 'fourth Neverman', has designed the album's sleeve.

Speaking of the lead single, Drucker dedicates its theme to “anyone remotely young, feeling inexplicably inspired in the ‘nowhere’ they are from. May you soon escape with style into elsewhere.”
