LCD Soundsystem to play huge Glasgow show in May 2018
James Murphy and co will play the Galvanisers Yard outdoor space at SWG3 to kick off 2018's festival season
The headline show at the new outdoor space at SWG3 – christened this summer with a pair of shows from The xx – is set for Sun 27 May. The gig falls two days after the band's headline set at the brand-new All Points East festival at Victoria Park in London, on a bill which includes Phoenix and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
LCD Soundsystem made a triumphant two-night return to the Barrowlands on their European tour back in September, with the only possible quibble in our five-star review being slight lulls during tracks from the then-brand new American Dream record. Now that everyone's up to speed, we don't think that should be an issue.
