Belle and Sebastian lead the line-up for the gig on 2 Nov, in aid of the charity’s Child Refugee Crisis Appeal for funds to assist refugees across Europe and the Middle East.

New to the line-up are post-rockers Mogwai – who held a fundraising drive for Glasgow food banks ahead of their 20th anniversary gigs at the Barrowlands in June – and Simple Minds duo Jim Kerr and Charlie Burchill.

Mercury and SAY Award-winning trio Young Fathers have also joined the bill; the band have been outspoken in their support for those caught up in the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, with their current European tour entitled 'We Are All Migrants'. Stand-up comedian Josie Long completes the line-up so far.

The Save the Children Refugee Crisis appeal gig, featuring Belle and Sebastian, Mogwai, Jim Kerr and Charlie Burchill (Simple Minds), Young Fathers and Josie Long, takes place on Mon 2 Nov at the Clyde Auditorium, Glasgow. Young Fathers have also been confirmed as the support act for trip-hop legends Massive Attack's forthcoming UK tour; they play Glasgow O2 Academy (22 Jan 2016), Leeds O2 Academy (27 Jan), and the Manchester Apollo (28 Jan).
