Black Lime – Fight or Flight: Video Premiere

Black Lime – Sam Connolly (vocals), Elliott Mann (bass), Dan Griffin (drums) and Luke Berry (guitar) – have gone from strength to strength since forming in 2015, with a host of live shows and a BBC Introducing session under their belt. Fight or Flight is propelled by a driving bassline from Mann and crisp guitar work from Berry, with reverb-laden vocals from frontman Sam Connolly.

Connolly describes the video as playing heavily on themes of indecision, and says the band went for a less literal approach than on previous clips. Connolly says: "It’s the backwards and forwards, push and pull motion you go through when you just have no idea what you want to do. There’s no clear solution when you’re in that mind-set and we really wanted that to be evident throughout the video.

"Our last two music videos, Down and Out and Sucker Punch, were very literal; this time we wanted something that is little more open to interpretation.” Watch the Fight or Flight clip in the player above.
