The Invisibles @ The Barfly

fusing rock, pop, new wave and electro

Article by Sam Eccles | 13 Oct 2006
To try and align the sounds of The Invisibles to other musical ensembles would be futile. Their compositions are stunningly original. Delivered with the power of Mark E Smith, excluding the angst and aggression, this kind of musical innovation is a reminder of the sounds exuding from early Factory Records - fusing rock, pop, new wave and electro. The band are proud purveyors of distinct sounds, interwoven with rapid rhythms, complex emotions and high-minded artistry. Rumoured to have been offered a deal with One Records, the band have taken a more subtle approach to world domination, collaborating with Wi45, and launching their enigmatic debut 'Catapult' in order to mark the beginning of a new musical insurgency, marked by their emergence.
