Missed her last night? Fret not for Chrysta Bell, who is currently starring in the latest series of David Lynch's Twin Peaks as FBI Agent Tamara Preston, plays a second night at Edinburgh's Voodoo Rooms as part of her We Dissolve Tour.

Six Organs of Admittance, Summerhall, Edinburgh, 16 Jun
Six Organs of Admittance is the main project of Ben Chasny and with a plethora of releases since 1998, his 2015 Hexadic record saw him adopt an unconventional method for songwriting involving a guitar and a pack of playing cards. His latest offering Burning the Threshold, released via Drag City earlier this year, was his first acoustic-led record since 2011, receiving four stars from us back in February. Catch him at Summerhall tonight with support from Ian Humberstone.

Famed for hits such as Jimmy Mack, Heatwave, Nowhere to Run and Dancing in the Street, be sure to head down to La Belle Angèle tonight to be transported back to the 60s by one of the original and best girl groups on the planet.

The Youth and the Young, Mash House, Edinburgh, 17 Jun
The Youth and the Young play their first Edinburgh show of the year at the Mash House tonight. They're playing to celebrate the release of latest single, Lanterns, and have support lined up from SKJØR and Deni Smith. Psychedelic Aussie rockers Pond make their way across the, um, pond… bad jokes aside, they're here this week and you can catch them psyching out all over Glasgow’s Art School tonight. Hans Zimmer, SSE Hydro, Glasgow, 18 Jun
The Academy Award, Golden Globe, Grammy and Tony Award winning film composer, Hans Zimmer, comes to Glasgow this week. Best known for his expert compositions for films such as The Lion King, The Dark Knight, Inception, Interstellar and True Romance among others, Zimmer will be joined on stage by his 15-piece studio band, an orchestra and choir, making what will likely be an unforgettable night.
