We love 'em, you love 'em... pretty soon the whole world's gonna love 'em. Still shrouding their recorded material in mystery ahead of that debut single release, ten-legged genre-mangling glitterbomb Pink Kink headline at Heebies, with HLMTDBroom of the SystemLUNA (not that one) and Mary Míller fleshing out a pretty hard-to-top line-up...
Heebie Jeebies, 7pm, £5

...Mind you, if anyone was going to try top it, you could put money on the good folks at Yeah Buddy DIY. They're celebrating three solid years of promoting and dedicated blogging about the Liverpool scene, so what better way to do so than with a party headlined by Manchester's finest fuzz-poppers False Advertising? They top a packed bill, co-starring Mad King Ludwig & the Mojo Co.Don't WorryLightcliffeElevant and Sheepy. And all for a fiver!
Maguire's Pizza Bar, 7pm, £5

New Liverpool label Deathly Records are also hosting a free show over towards the Baltic Triangle, as they launch Disappear, the debut single by their first singings Lilium. Hear a tantalising preview of Disappear here, and be sure to head along early for yet another superb selection of bands, as OVVLS, Etches and God on my Right provide sterling support.
24 Kitchen Street, 7pm, free entry

Jay McAllister, aka Beans on Toast has been touring for over a decade now, but he's never sounded quite so prescient as he does on recent single 2016, which analyses this clusterfuck of a year in all its grizzly detail. Catch him tonight ahead of eighth album A Spanner in the Works' December release.
Constellations, 7.30pm, £12

Sat 26 Nov

Across the water, one-time Coral guitarist and songwriter of no little repute Bill Ryder-Jones finally brings his West Kirby County Primary tour to a close with a triumphant appearance at New Brighton's Floral Pavillion.
Floral Pavillion Theatre (New Brighton), 7pm, £12.50

Ealing post-punkers White Lies have had a pretty great year following the success of fourth album Friends. Tonight's show, as you might expect, is already sold out, but we're sure you'll find a way of getting a ticket somehow...
O2 Academy, 7pm, £sold out

Sun 27 Nov

Is there much left to say about Primal Scream after 11 albums and 34 years? Expect classics from landmark album Screamadelica alongside old favourites from their late-90s resurrection and new efforts from this year's Chaosmosis. You know the drill.
Olympia, 7pm, £27.50

Not quite so veteran but certainly far from new kids on the block, Electric Six return for another bout of High Voltage-ing and Gay Bar-ing and whatever else they've been doing since 2003 (making more records, we presume, but who can be sure?). There's a special treat in store for superfans too, as frontman Dick Valentine pops over to DIY outpost Maguire's Pizza Bar for an early-doors solo show (6.15pm, £7.50).
O2 Academy, 7pm, £14
