Animal Collective’s Noah Lennox – aka Panda Bear – is back with a four-track EP of new material, as well as announcing his fifth solo LP, Panda Bear Meets The Grim Reaper, due out in January.

The Mr Noah EP features the lead single from Lennox’s new album – the first Panda Bear record since 2011's Tomboy – along with three non-album cuts unique to the short-player. Watch the video for Mr Noah in the player below.

The new LP sees Lennox team up once again with Pete 'Sonic Boom' Kember, who performed mixing duties on Tomboy. Speaking to The Skinny ahead of that album's release, Panda Bear said: “I feel like Sonic really put his perspective on there and took the record to the next level. He took whatever was the strength of each song deep down and built his ideas around that.

"On the last day of mixing, I went up to New York to spend the day in the studio with him and I remember listening to it and thinking ‘this is exactly what I wanted to do.’”

Panda Bear Meets The Grim Reaper is out on CD and vinyl on 12 Jan, and the Mr Noah EP is out now as a digital download, both via Domino.
